Module 6 — Psychology & discipline
When not to trade, and why screen time is not progress
6 minute read
In plain English
Not trading is a position. Tired, rushed, angry, distracted, or without a clear reason to act — all of these are complete reasons to do nothing today.
Why it matters
Most avoidable losses come from trading in conditions you would never have chosen deliberately.
Example
A trader who takes two considered decisions a week and reviews both will usually learn faster than one who takes twenty impulsive ones.
Try this
Write your three personal 'do not trade today' conditions and keep them visible.
Common mistake
Believing that watching every candle is the same as working.
What this does not mean
Sitting at the screen all day does not improve your results, and being away does not mean you missed something you were ready for.
