Module 5 — Reacting, not predicting

Reading a Blue Pulse properly

6 minute read

In plain English

A pulse records which conditions changed. Read all six conditions and the reason before looking at the price.

Why it matters

The conditions tell you what kind of move this is; the price tells you nothing on its own.

Example

Four of six conditions met with no identified catalyst is a very different situation from six of six on confirmed news.

Try this

Open three pulses today and rank them by how much you understand about why they are moving.

Common mistake

Reacting to the badge colour rather than the content.

What this does not mean

Six of six conditions is not a stronger prediction. It is a fuller description.
